Smokey Paprika Spread adds BBQ to raw. Way more sophisticated than ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise, this little recipe goes anything raw. Your family will enjoy snack time with this flavored spread. It is great for pairing with veggie trays at parties. The smokey flavor can also provide a nice contrast to other spreads. Bon Appetite!

Smokey Paprika Spread

Ingredients:
Presoak 1 cup of cashews for 4 hours
½ cup filtered water
¼ tsp. Himalayan sea salt
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. marinade from caramelized onion recipe
1 tsp. tamari

Directions:
Drain and rinse the cashews until the water runs clear. Place all of the ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until creamy smooth.

Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.

Note: If you do not have the marinade left over from the caramelized onion recipe, it can be omitted.
